CQ Forensics is a senior-led digital forensics and incident response firm based in Las Vegas, accelerated by CQ Systems proprietary AI models. This is the first post on our blog — a quick note on why we're publishing and what you can expect to find here.
Who this is for
We write for the people who pick up the phone when something is on fire: CISOs and IT leaders, breach counsel, cyber insurance carriers and brokers, and the in-house teams who want to be ready before an incident arrives. The goal is signal — not marketing fluff.
What we'll publish
Posts will draw directly from our engagements and ongoing research. Expect a mix of:
- Threat intelligence on active ransomware crews, BEC patterns, and emerging TTPs
- Lessons from real incident response engagements (sanitized, of course)
- Notes on how we use AI responsibly to accelerate forensic investigations
- Practical guidance for retainers, tabletop exercises, and incident readiness
- Commentary on the evolving DFIR, insurance, and breach counsel landscape
Our bias
We believe modern incidents move faster than traditional forensic engagements respond. We pair frontline senior responders with proprietary AI to compress the time from first call to defensible answers — and we'll write here through that lens.
